The game was released in Japan in 2008, and was announced for a North American release during Tokyo Game Show 2009. It is still unknown if the game will follow its predecessor’s steps, and be released exclusively for download on the PlayStation Store, or if the release will include a UMD form. This last theory could be supported by the fact that NIS America is looking into an UMD release of the first game.The gameplay is the same as the first Holy Invasion Of Privacy, Badman! game’s: Using a limited number of “steps” and a pickaxe, the player must dig and create a maze with monsters in it, to defend Overlord Badman from the heroes.A trailer announcing the game’s North American release claims Holy Invasion Of Privacy, Badman! 2 contains “4 times more stages, 3.3 times more monsters and 2.3 times more heroes” than the first game.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

The_Forgotten_Sands_Cover_ArtworkPrince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is an upcoming videogame developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec due for release on May 11, 2010, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable and Microsoft Windows. The game is a latest installment in the Prince of Persia series, and will mark a return to the storyline started by Prince of Persia: TheSands of Time.

While not a direct video game adaptation or containing elements of the film, the game’s release is coinciding with the May 2010 release of Disney’s film adaptation of the video game, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Dante’s Inferno is an upcoming third-person action-adventure video game to be published by Electronic Arts and in development by Visceral Games (formerly EA Redwood Shores). The game is very loosely based on Inferno, the first book of Dante Alighieri’s epic poem, The Divine Comedy. The story of the game is written by Will Rokos, who wrote the film Monster’s Ball.
DC Comics’ Wildstorm imprint will also carry a serialised adaptation of the game sequence, beginning in February 2010.

The player controls Dante, a veteran of the Third Crusade, who chases his beloved Beatrice and attempts to free her soul from Lucifer, who needs to wed a heaven-bound soul to break free of Hell and make another attempt to take over the Throne of God. As his pursuit takes him through the monstrous entities within the nine Circles of Hell to save Beatrice, Dante must face his own sins, his family’s past and war crimes.

Army of Two: The 40th Day(PS3, X360, PSP)

Army_of_Two_The_40th_DayArmy of Two: The 40th Day is an upcoming third-person shooter video game that is developed by EA Montreal and published by Electronic Arts for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. It is the sequel to Army of Two. Army of Two: The 40th Day ships on January 12, 2010 in North America and January 8, 2010 in Europe.

Game play will be further enhanced such as being able to feign surrender in order to outflank the enemy, using human shields, and automated covering. The refined controls now only require one button for any particular action. Melee has been mapped to a face button, and rifling through weapons can be done with one hand. There will also be a sprint function in the game. Partner AI has also been revamped to be more responsive and intelligent allowing the player to direct their partner into performing specific actions such as stealth kills or feigning surrender.

More weapons and upgrades will be available, adding interchangeable upgrades between weapons, such as adding the barrel of one assault rifle to another. The “pimped” option returns with new camouflage schemes. Weapons can now also be obtained from downed enemies, increasing the player’s arsenal to four weapons (up from three in Army of Two). Bullets will be able to penetrate weaker materials such as wood and sheet metal.
