Infinite Space is a science-fiction role-playing game developed by Nude Maker and Platinum Games for the Nintendo DS. It was released in Japan on June 11, 2009, and will be released in North America March 16, 2010, but has a pending date for Europe in March 2010. For a short period after it was announced, the game was referred to by the working title Infinite Line.Infinite Space is a science fiction role-playing video game that allows the player to design and control a spaceship. The player can customize the ship with over 150 different design models, along with over 150 possible crewmembers. After designing a ship, the player can explore an expansive game world with a story spanning two galaxies. Prison Break: The Conspiracy is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Fox Network television series Prison Break that is due to be released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The release date has been set for March 26 2010The protagonist of the “Prison Break” game is Company agent Tom Paxton. He is sent to the Fox River State Penitentiary to find out why Michael Scofield (the hero of the TV series), a man without a previous criminal record, became a bank robber.The storyline runs parallel to the first season of “Prison Break”: Paxton encounters several characters from the series and experiences key events from his own perspective.According to the trailer, the protagonist narrates that he was already dead.
Mega Man 10(Wii)
Mega Man 10 is the upcoming tenth main entry of the classic Mega Man series (not including Mega Man & Bass).
Mega Man 10 will have three playable characters: Mega Man, Proto Man, and an unnamed third character. The Robot Masters in the game are Sheep Man, Commando Man, Blade Man, Strike Man, Solar Man, Chill Man, Nitro Man, and Pump Man. An easy mode will also be included in the game that alters levels, such as placing platforms over spike pits. There will also be a “Mega Man Challenges” mode where players can practice their skills. Returning features from the previous game include an in-between level item shop and downloadable content.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is an upcoming videogame developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec due for release on May 11, 2010, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation Portable and Microsoft Windows. The game is a latest installment in the Prince of Persia series, and will mark a return to the storyline started by Prince of Persia: TheSands of Time.
A trailer for Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands was premiered worldwide on the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards.
While not a direct video game adaptation or containing elements of the film, the game’s release is coinciding with the May 2010 release of Disney’s film adaptation of the video game, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
Red Dead Redemption
The game is set in 1908; it focuses around a former outlaw, John Marston, who is sent across the troubled American Frontiers to help in bringing the rule of law. It was revealed in the trailer that Marston has come to kill or capture his former gang partner Bill Williamson. It will also involve the events leading up to the 1910 Mexican Revolution. The game will use open worldgameplay similar to the Grand Theft Auto series with sandbox environments and a free-roaming ability. The environments will include frontier towns, prairies, and mountain passes.
Realistic horses created with the Euphoria animation engine will play a major part of the game’s transport. The game will also feature over 40 different types of animals (e.g. bears, wolves, buffalo etc.) that can be hunted, realistic weather changes (including seasons) and the ability to ride trains to travel to certain places faster.
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 2 is an upcoming action role-playing game under development by BioWare Edmonton with assistance from BioWare Montreal, and set to be published by Electronic Arts. The game is the sequel to Mass Effect, and will be released on Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360 in North America on January 26, 2010, Australia on January 28th, 2010 and in Europe on January 29, 2010Mass Effect 2 also features regenerating health as its primary health mechanic, instead of being able to heal with “medi-gel” as in the first game. In addition, the overheat system for weapons has been replaced with collectible heat sinks. This system is functionally identical to the ammunition systems in other third-person shooters, but instead of having different ammunition types for different weapons, the heat sinks are universal across all standard weapons
Metro 2033(Win, X3600)
Metro 2033 is an upcoming action-oriented video game with a combination of horror, survival, RPG, and shooting. The game is based on the popular Eastern European cult novel Metro 2033from Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. It is developed by 4A Games and will be released in 2010 on the Xbox 360 and for Microsoft Windows.
In 2013 the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all mankind and turning the earth’s surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new Dark Age.
The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and their besieged Metro Station-Cities struggle for survival, with each other, and the mutant horrors that await outside.
The player takes on the role of Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond the Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system, to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat. The journey takes Artyom from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where the player’s actions will determine the fate of mankind.
Natal is coming to Xbox 360 this holiday season
Microsoft has finally confirmed what had been an open secret: Project Natal,
technology, motion detection without control, to fully focus on the use of the
device’s camera will be launched at Christmas 2010.
Developers, analysts and other parts of the video game industry had already
pointed to that time for its appearance on the market, but it was not until now
that Microsoft has officially dated to this new control system for its Xbox
360 console.
However, the moment the company has not confirmed what will eventually trade
name, or has shown or announced its launch games. It is hoped that these
announcements are made about E3
2010.
Super Street Fighter IV(X360, PS3)
Super Street Fighter IV is a forthcoming competitive fighting game currently being produced byCapcom. It is an updated version of/sequel to Street Fighter IV scheduled to be released for thePlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a stand-alone product. Originally set to be released in Spring 2010, Capcom recently delayed the game to be released sometime after April 2010 with no official release date being given yet.The game is planned to feature ten additional characters, as well as tweaks and changes to the existing ones, such as new ultra combos.Among the added characters are T. Hawk and Dee Jay, who were initially intended to be in the original Street Fighter IV but later dropped. Also revealed was Juri, an all new character, along with Adon from the original Street Fighter, and Cody and Guy from Final Fight, characters who were last featured in Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Quantum Theory(PS3, X360)
Originally announced under the name Quantum, the game’s working title has been changed to ‘Quantum Theory’. Quantum Theory is an upcoming third person shooter video game developed by Team Tachyon and published by Tecmo.The game centers around two characters named Syd and Fillena who must fight through a “living tower.” The game will feature a cover system similar to Kill Switch, Gears of War, andUncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
